Very comfortable hotel about 10mins walk to centre of Nantes. Breakfast had the most choice of a number of hotels we've stayed at on France over 2wks. Room was spacious modern with a good sized clean bathroom.
New and modern, with stylish well-designed rooms. Excellent breakfast and really friendly staff. There was a city carrefour round the corner, the hotel is well-located for sightseeing. I really enjoyed my stay, it was very comfortable.
Hotel is in close walking distance to the centre of town. Breakfast was exceptionally good
Lack of car parking space ( they only have 6 spaces in all) meant we had to use a public car park overnight costing €10. This was a 5 minute walk from the hotel
No tea & coffee facilities in the room, also being charged for the use of room phone even though it was faulty and no connection was made (£10equiv:) rip off. Just because I tried to dail!!
The staff were very helpful and friendly on our arrival, providing us with maps and information on the local area. Our room was lovely, with a huge, huge bed, and ample storage space for a two night stay. Excellent, modern bathroom and a standard of cleanliness that wouldn't be beaten. We were very happy with the hotel and locaton, only a few minutes walk over to the centre of town. Breakfast was great, lots of choice to help yourself to and the option to take breakfast up to your room. A wonderful stay, thank you. Booking made for next year already!!
Only one small point, it would have be nice to have tea making facility in the bedrooms but this wasn't a problem.
We required a hotel within walking distance of the railway station, and the hotel was a 15 minute walk away, which was fine. We also wanted a hotel with its own secure parking, at a reasonable daily rate. Hotel Belfort met these requirements superbly well, and the staff could not have been more helpful, the room was clean, comfortable and well- eqipped, and excellent value for money. The only slight criticisms I had, were that the room, with an extra bed in, could have been larger for greater comfort, and the parking space and room for manoeuvre whilst parking was limited, so take extra care whilst parking. Overall, excellent value.
Close to the 'Loire a velo' route and to the station (for our return journey to Nevers). Modern decor.
Siuated in the business district so a bit soulless at the weekend.
Very conveniently placed staff were very helpfull we would certainly use it again.
The location was superb. The staff went out of their way to assist, and arranged transport and eating out advice. The rooms were twin, clean and well appointed for the price . It was excellent value for money and I would recommend it to others from New Zealand
Recently refurbished hotel Clean and comfortable and well equiped rooms. Good location . Private secure parking.
Room rather small. No wifi in room.
The hotel is very well located, close to the train station and to the places of interest. It is new, very clean, I would give it 3 stars, and not 2. The city is very nice, there is a lot to see there. We were not in the best season (1st of November), however we enjoyed our trip. The personnel of the hotel is very friendly and helpful.
Private Parking and proximity to the centre and restaurants etc. Good sound proofing and air conditioning.
Very small bedroom, even smaller bathroom but a good size shower. Instructions to find the hotel virtually impossible to understand.
The bathroom was very modern with its walk in shower and very tasteful decor. The buffet breakfast was also excellent with assorted breads, eggs, cooked meats, cereals and fresh fruit. Definitely should be rated higher than 2*.
It was rather close to a rough nighclub but you can avoid this by keeping to the main road. Noise wasn't an issue though if you kept the bedroom window shut. It was useful having the secure garage at 8e per night but beware of the painted floor which means your tyres don't hold!
Clean, parking excellent, helpful pleasant staff.comfortable bed and good bathroom.
The hotel was very close to the town centre, only a 10 minute walk to the Chateau and Cathedral. We had a room at the back and it was very quiet. The Breakfast was good with a good selection of fresh fruit and meats and cheeses. The service was friendly and the room was a decent size and clean.
The only problem was the car park, which if you are driving a large car could be difficult. It is narrow and steep with a double bend. However, there is a large public car park at the front of the hotel.
